Dillon is so amazing with our 6 year old son (he started lessons at 5)! He is patient, fun, engaging and teaches developmentally appropriate music lessons. Our son loves that he can play the piano, drums, or electric guitar and doesn’t have to select one instrument to focus on. If you're in the market for a drum teacher, Dillon comes highly recommended from my experience. He has worked wonderfully with my 8-year-old daughter, teaching her the fundamentals of drumming and fostering an environment where she can grow at her own pace. My son started playing with Dillon over three years ago. He didn’t know the first thing about drumming. Fast-forward three years later, he has transformed into such an experienced drummer. He’s confident, he can read music, he’s now getting to a place where he can hear a song and without reading music learn how to play it just off of listening. It’s all thanks to him! My son recently played a gig at the Canyon Club and Dillon attended to show support. That meant the world to my son and our family. He’s so supportive, amazing with kids and super patient. 5 stars for Dillon! For the past several years, he has taught my children both drums and piano. Dillon consistently arrives to every lesson cheerful and energetic, creating a positive and motivating learning environment. He connects exceptionally well with my daughter, who is typically reserved around adults, and has truly brought out her confidence. Our son has been learning drums with Dillon for the past couple of years, and we truly can’t say enough good things about him. He is incredibly accommodating, communicative, and supportive. Dillon has been my 12 year old son’s drum teacher since 2022. He has taught him so much in such a short time, I can’t believe how good my son has gotten. Dillon challenges him to learn harder rhythms but is also so kind and patient with him. He lets my son take the lead on what kind of music he wants to play but will be sure to teach him all of the valuable components that go into the piece. On a side note, he genuinely takes interest to see how my son is doing and what he’s into these days.
